VinFast Rolls Out the PR
As it prepares to deliver its first cars to the United States later this year, VinFast has kicked off a press campaign on both sides of the Pacific.
One example is the Vingroup Elite Vietnam Tour which brought together “more than 200 influencers, thought leaders, and VinFirst Pioneers” for a tour of the Vingroup ecosystem in 10 locations.
This included a visit to the VinFast factory in Hai Phong and has resulted in breathless coverage from the likes of Time and CleanTechnica. (The latter of which noted that the writer’s travel and accommodation were paid for by VinFast.)
The PR is working so far, at least judging by some of the more credulous stretches of these articles.
