A Year in Review

Last week, the Central Steering Committee on Anti-corruption held a conference to review the first year of operations of province-level anti-corruption committees. Chaired by General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng, the architect of the ongoing anti-corruption campaign, the event touched on many major scandals covered here before.

These include FLC Group, AIC, the Viet A test kit and Covid repatriation flight scandals, Van Thinh Phat, Tan Hoang Minh, the Vietnam Register, and more.

It also gave officials the chance to share statistics on the campaign’s progress over the last year, giving us an idea of just how much has happened.
